This tertiary centre serves to children with liver diseases and pediatric candidates for liver transplantation and trace element laboratory receives samples from all parts of the country. Pediatric hepatology unit has 12 inpatient beds for children in need of hospitalization, as well as three days of outpatients clinic and four days of pediatric endoscopy services on a routine basis. This is the oldest and busiest pediatric liver center in Istanbul with an annual rate of 300 to 400 inpatients and over 7000 outpatients.
